88' A brilliant counter attack and Inter Milan once again take the lead back. Carlos Augusto gets the ball past the keeper from close range and Inter are ahead once again.

Inter Milan have registered a win here. 2-1 is what they will leave Munich with. An impressive performance, especially the finishes. Bayern Munich will be really frustrated that they conceded twice and could only score once from all of their chances.

We had a thriller in Munich tonight and it is the Inter Milan side which walks away with an advantage. Lautaro Martinez opened the scoring for Inter in the frst half but late in the game Bayern Munich levelled scores thanks to Thomas Muller who came off the bench to fire the equaliser. But within minutes, Inter found their second goal with Carlos Augusto scoring. The goals helped Inter register a crucial 2-1 first leg advantage.

The next leg of this quarterfinal is on April 16 (April 17 IST) and Inter Milan will enter the game with a 2-1 lead.
