The Draw for the finals of the CAF African Nations Championship (CHAN) Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania 2024 took place in Nairobi, Kenya on Wednesday, January 15. The draw delivered some interesting matches that will be played in August 2025. (More Football News)
Hosts Kenya were placed in Group A alongside Morocco, Angola, DR Congo and Zambia. Group B has hosts Tanzania alongside the likes of Madagascar, Mauritania, Burkina Faso and Central African Republic in their pool.
In Group C, Uganda will lock horns against Niger, Guinea, Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2, making this pool something of an unknown quantity.
Defending champions Senegal are placed top in Group D, which is a four-team pool, and also include Congo, Sudan and Nigeria.

GROUP D: Senegal, Congo, Sudan, Nigeria
The two teams are still to book their spot in the final tournament, with the likes of Algeria, Comoros, Gambia, Malawi, Egypt, South Africa and Gabon are yet to fill the spots in the draw for Qualifier 1 and Qualifier 2.
The tournament which was supposed to get underway in February, will now be held in August 2025 to ensure the infrastructure and facilities for the teams and travelling fans are 'at the levels necessary'.
