English Premier League Highlights: Barnes Brace Gives Newcastle United 4-1 Victory Over Man United

Full-time as Newcastle United beat Manchester United 4-1 with a brace from Harvey Barnes. The win lifts Magpies into fourth in the Premier League table and in the UCL spot and have a game in hand as well. As for the Red Devils, they are 14th.

Two major updates from the Newcastle United vs Man United fixture, that will be played out later today. Magpies boss Eddie Howe will miss the game after being taken to hospital. Whereas in the opposition half, Red Devils boss Ruben Amorim has decided to drop Andre Onana from the squad.

The Blues have come roaring back in the second-half with a goal from defender Marc Cucurella. Just the start the home team and fans were yearning for.

Wow! Tottenham Hotspur, who seemed to have pulled one goal back against Wolves, are now 1-3 down thanks to a defence mishap. Christian Romero feels like he has covered the ground but Rayan Aït-Nouri surges ahead and crosses for Jørgen Strand Larsen to make it another goal.

Chelsea are level in the game with Jadon Sancho whereas Richarlison's header has given Spurs a lifeline as they are now 3-2 against Wolves. Brilliant!

Wow! Liverpool mistake allows West Ham to level only for the hosts to take the lead via captain Virgil van Dijk. Elsewhere, Tottenham go 4-2 down to Wolves and Chelsea push for a winner against struggling Ipswich Town.

Man United have been really positive on the ball and have created chances in-between with one coming to Joshua Zirkzee as the Dutch forward fails to hit the target after a nice intricate play between him and Bruno Fernandes. Zirkzee manages to hit Nick Pope and the attack fails.

Against the run of play, Newcastle United are ahead. Manuel Ugarte gives the ball away and it falls to the feet of Kieran Trippier who finds Alexander Isak. The forward plays a dink to Sandro Tonali, who meets with a crisp villey into the bottom corner.

Alejandro Garnacho scores a beautiful goal to bring parity in the contest as Red Devils go into the break with a 1-1 score. Ruben Amorim's side break from Diogo Dalot who then cuts it to the Argentine as the latter neatly threads through on goal.

It's 1-1 at half-time as Newcastle United find themselves pegged back after a brilliant goal from Sandro Tonali before Garnacho's goal brings parity to the game.

Dutch forward Joshua Zirkzee's season seems to have ended tonight as he pulls up after a lung-bursting run of 60 yards but he goes down and and seems to have run his race.

Wow! 4-1 scoreline flatters to deceive. Manchester United are 4-1 down to Newcastle United and it seems Ruben Amorim and the authorities have a huge task in the summer if they are to make this team winning silverware again.
