The tournament, featuring 32 top clubs from across the globe, will take place in the USA in June and July 2025. Alongside the lucrative prize pool, FIFA has also introduced an unprecedented global solidarity model, ensuring wider financial support for club football worldwide.
The tournament champions will take home USD 40 million by winning the final but they can earn a total of upto USD 125 million in the entire competition. Every single win will add to a team's cash reward. A win in the group stage will earn a club USD 2 million, while a draw will fetch USD 1 million. Further wins will keep adding to the financial incentive.
The financial rewards grow exponentially as teams advance:
Round of 16: + USD 7.5 million
Quarter-finals: + USD 13.125 million
Semi-finals: + USD 21 million
Finalist (runner-up): + USD 10 million
Champion: + USD 40 million

Beyond the prize money, FIFA has pledged an additional USD 250 million towards a solidarity investment program aimed at supporting clubs worldwide.
Infantino also confirmed that FIFA will not retain any financial gains from this tournament, nor will it dip into its reserves allocated for global football development across 211 FIFA Member Associations.
