In a tightly fought Girls Final, Jharkhand edged past Odisha FA 1-0, with Anamika Sanga scoring the winner in the 20th minute. Odisha gave it everything in search of an equaliser, but Jharkhand라이브 바카라 backline, anchored by skipper Chandani Kumari, held firm under pressure.
“Winning this meant everything to us,” said Chandani after the match. “We decided to keep pushing forward, and it worked. The tournament was so well run, great venue, good facilities, and it라이브 바카라 helped us build confidence. We’re all chasing the dream of playing for India someday.”
On the boys’ side, Punjab FC looked sharp and focused as they beat Mohun Bagan Super Giant 2-0. Subham Gurung opened the scoring early, and Ashish Lohar added a second midway through the second half to seal the deal.
“We came here well prepared, and staying unbeaten through the tournament shows the kind of effort we’ve put in,” said captain Aniket Yadav.
He added, “Matches like these, especially against international teams like Norwich City FC, give us a real taste of top-level competition. Retaining the title just proves how strong we are together.”
Former India stars Subrata Paul and Bhaichung Bhutia were in attendance, along with local officials from the Goa government who joined the celebrations and honoured the standout performers at the closing ceremony.
Watching the young talent on display, Bhaichung was impressed: “This is exactly what Indian football needs, competitive, well-run tournaments where kids from every corner of the country can test themselves. The level of football and the passion out there today were just fantastic.”
