The Mariners came into this tie on the back of a 1-2 defeat in the first-leg which took place at the JRD Tata Sports Complex.

However, the ISL shield winners showed their supremacy on their own turf as Jason Cummings converted from the spot in the first-half before a late winner from Lalengmawia Ralte steered the Mariners into the final.

Mohun Bagan will take on Bengaluru FC in the final on Saturday, April 12 at the Salt Lake Stadium. The Blues booked their spot yesterday, April 6, thanks to late goal from Sunil Chhetri to win the tie on 3-2 aggregate score.

The game was watched by Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) players including skipper Rishabh Pant who was pictured seated alongside owner Sanjiv Goenka. LSG are in action against KKR in the IPL 2025 on Tuesday, April 8 at the Eden Gardens.
