Alaeddine Ajaraie scored in the 19th minute of the first half to double the lead of NorthEast United FC in the game. The Highlanders are toying with Mohammedan Sporting players. The goalkeeper of MDSC looked clueless when Ajaraie found the net.

22' - NEUFC 2-0 MDSC

Alaaeddine lost possession to Ismaily, whose cross found Rabi Hansda. Hansda shot was blocked by Zabaco, and Bikash Ghosh's rebound attempt flew wide. Later, Jithin MS's cross was met by Nestor Albiach, but his shot was saved by the Mohammedan goalkeeper.

35' - NEUFC 2-0 MDSC

Nestor Albiach scored the third goal of NorthEast United FC to put them in the driver's seat. His 43rd-minute goal came just before the half-time as the Highlanders finished with three goals in the first half. Mohammedan Sporting are struggling!

The second half of the match started with Mohammedan Sporting players taking charge over the Highlanders. They are three goals down in the game and need to score as early as possible to stay alive in the game.

NorthEast United FC made two substitutions in the match when Thoi Singh replaced Jithin Madathil and Macarton Nickson replaced Mohammed Bemmamer in the 55th minute. Alaeddine Ajaraie managed to find the net in the next couple of minutes to score his brace and the fourth goal for the Highlanders in the match.

Guillermo of NorthEast United FC found the net in the 66th minute to make the scorecard 5-0 in favour of the Highlanders. They have a big lead in the game. The goal came moments after Israfil Dewan of Mohammedan Sporting was handed a yellow card.

Alaeddine Ajaraie scored again! This time, it was a penalty goal. It was his third goal of the match. Earlier, Gogoi P replaced Guillermo, whereas Singh TA replaced Lalremsanga for Mohammedan Sporting.

NorthEast United won the match with 6-0 as final score. Alaeddine Ajaraie scored a hat-trick in the game as the Highlanders qualified for the quarter-finals of the Super Cup 2025. Mohammedan Sporting are eliminated from the tournament.
