Here's an interesting statistic, courtesy of Guardian, that will give some hope for the Red Devils fans: Manchester United have won on aggregate in 14 of the 20 European knock-out games where they have drawn the first leg.

This is what Ruben Amorim said ahead of the must-win game:

One of the biggest news out of the lineups is the absence of Heung Min-Son, who is missing out due to a foot injury. In his place comes in Mathys Tel, the winger on loan from Bayern Munich. The French winger has three goals in all competitions, and Ange Postecoglou will rely on him to break the Frankfurt defence.

Another interesting stat, courtesy of BBC: Maroan Sannadi, who will lead Athletic Bilbao's attack against Rangers tonight, spent the first half of the season at Barakaldo in the Spanish third division, on loan from Alaves' B team. Bilbao took a chance on the 24-year-old striker, and he will lead the team in their must-win game against Rangers.

And here we go! Four games, four kick-offs. Just to remind you, these are the four games taking place in the UEFA Europa League 2024-25 quarter-final second leg matches:

• Athletic Bilbao vs Rangers (0-0)

• Eintracht Frankfurt vs Tottenham Hotspur (1-1)

• Lazio vs Bodo/Glimt (0-2)

• Manchester United vs Olympique Lyonnais (2-2)

Manuel Ugarte is the unlikeliest of goalscorers for Manchester United, but Ruben Amorim will take it. Lyon's defence fell asleep, and Mazraoui's ball found Alejandro Garnacho is acres of space. The Argentine winger found Ugarte with the cutback, and the midfielder scores from just 10 yards to give the home side the lead, 1-0 on the night, and 3-2 on aggregate.

MUN 1-0 OL (3-2) (10')

The first 15 minutes or so have been entirely Athletic with all the attacks, but its Rangers forward Cyriel Dessers who claims a penalty after Daniel Vivian grabs his jersey inside the box, ripping it at the front. The referee, however, plays onm and VAR refuses to intervene.

The forward is clearly unhappy as he leaves the field to change his shirt, and earns a booking for possibly something he said to the ref. Drama.

Gustav Isaksen cuts the ball after a free run, and Valentin Castellanos scores a stunning back-heel goal to cut Lazio's deficit down to one. Game on at the Stadio Olimpico!

LAZ 1-0 BOD (1-2) (20')

Attack is the name of the game in all four matches, and Mathys Tel - who replaced the injured Heung-Min Son, fluffs his chance after an excellent cross from Brennan Johnson. Painful for Ange Postecoglou, whose job might depend on tonight's result.

Meanwhile, the home side replaced Mario Gotze with Fares Chaibi after the German suffered an injury.

SGE 0-0 TOT (1-1) (20')

Rayan Cherki goes on an unstoppable run, running past four Manchester United defenders and shoots a hard, low shot. However, Andre Onana reacts quickly and keeps it out. Cherki looks disappointed, as he made a fantastic place for himself to score the equaliser.

Despite the dazzling effort from the midfielder, the save was something Onana would have expected to make, but considering all the drama that happened in the first leg, this will be a confidence booster for the Cameroonian.

MUN 1-0 OL (3-2) (31')

Just as Lyon started dominating the attacking play, Man United create a chance out of nowhere. A ball from Diogo Dalot finds his compatriot Bruno Fernandes, and the midfielder -- sliding in -- pokes the ball with his toe and still somehow manages to hit the top bar.

Extremely unlucky for the Red Devils skipper. Perri was completely beaten, and that would have been a Puskas contender for sure.

MUN 1-0 OL (3-2) (36')

Meanwhile, Athletic Bilbao are uttrely dominating proceedings, coming extremely close through Alex Berenguer and Nico Williams. Somehow -- and I don't think even Barry Ferguson knows how -- Rangers are yet to concede.

The Scottish club are yet to trouble their opponents either, with a grand total of ZERO touches in Athletic's penalty box so far.

ATH 0-0 RAN (0-0) (41')

Tottenham Hotspur finally have something to show for all their attacking efforts, and it's Dominic Solanke who gets the goal.

Kaua Santos concedes one of the most blatant penalties you will see, taking out James Maddison, and Solanke steps up and slots the ball through the middle.

SGE 0-1 TOT (1-2) (43')

Manchester United double their advantage just before the break, and Diogo Dalot is the goalscorer this time. A straight pass from Harry Maguire is received by the Portuguese full-back, who sees of Nicolas Tagliafico's challenge and shoots past Perri. It's the home side's game to lose now.

MUN 2-0 OL (4-2) (45+1')

Athletic Bilbao finally get a well-deserved goal, and it comes from the spot. John Souttar brings down Maroan Sannadi in the box, and the referee points to the spot immediately.

Oihan Sancet steps up to take the spot kick, and his low shot sends Liam Kelly the wrong way. Bilbao lead at the break.

ATH 1-0 RAN (1-0) (45+3')

Phew, what maginificent displays of attacking football in the first 45 minutes all the four games! Here's what the scorelines look like at half-time:

• Athletic Bilbao 1-0 Rangers (1-0)

• Eintracht Frankfurt 0-1 Tottenham Hotspur (1-2)

• Lazio 1-0 Bodo/Glimt (1-2)

• Manchester United 2-0 Olympique Lyonnais (4-2)

Barely 10 minutes played since half-time, and already a number of updates. Hojlund sends Garnacho through, and the Argentine misses a golden one-on-one chance, shooting straight at Perri.

Meanwhile, it's more misery for Rangers as Leon Balogun goes off injured, and is replaced by Hamza Igamane. Barry Ferguson looks exasparated.

In the third game, Fares Chaibi comes close with a freekick, but Frankfurt are still trailing the match.

Rangers have some life left, after all. Nicolas Raskin hits the post with a powerful strike after Souttar put the ball in the box. Respite for Athletic club, who are trying to slow the tempo of the game at every opportunity.

Ferguson respons by changing Ranger's shape to a 4-4-2 formation.

ATH 1-0 RAN (1-0) (59')

Game on!! Thiago Almada's free-kick is not cleared by the home side, and Niakhate puts it back in the danger zone. Alexandre Lacazette find captain Corentin Tolisso with a deft flick, and the midfielder heads it to the back of the net. The deficit is now cut down to just one goal, and OL have found new wind under their wings.

MUN 2-1 OL (4-3) (71')

Nicolas Tagliafico has levelled it at Old Trafford! Malick Fofana crosses it to the right-hand side where Ainsley Maitland-Niles volleys it back in. Tagliafico evades his marker and sticks out a leg. Onana pushes it back, but it's gone way over the line already.

Utter silence at the stadium, and Amorim looks crestfallen. That Garnacho miss will be even more painful now.

MUN 2-2 OL (4-4) (77')

Rangers have been way more clinical since the break, but it's Athletic Bilbao who get the second goal. De Marcos crosses the ball to the back post, and Nico Williams delivers a bullet header to practically seal the match for the home side.

ATH 2-0 RAN (2-0) (80')

A big chance for Rasmus Kristensen, who has been the best player for the home side so far. Uzun found found him with a fantastic pull back, but the defender shoots straight at Vicario. Frankfurt still trail with just eight minutes of normal time left to play.

SGE 0-1 TOT (1-2) (82')

This game really has it all! Corentin Tolisso clips Leny Yoro, and the referee immediately puts his hands in his pocket. The French midfielder, who was already on a yellow card, is given his marching order. Incredibly harsh, considering the situation of the game, but VAR can't recheck a second yellow card. Lyon will play the final minute of normal time, and possibly extra time, with 10 men.

MUN 2-2 OL (4-4) (89')

And the quarter-finals keep on delivering. A dramatic stoppage time goal from substitute Tijjani Noslin, as the Dutch forward scores from close range after a headed assist from Alessio Romagnoli. The Italian side are ahead 2-0 on the night, and the tie is level on aggregate. Extra time beckons.

LAZ 2-0 BOD (2-2) (90+3')

The first game of the night is over, as Athletic Bilbao have secured their semi-final seat after winning 2-0 against Rangers at the San Mames Stadium.

The away side were the second best for most the match, and despite some fight back after the break, could not stop Oihan Sancet and Nico Williams from finding the back of the net.

ATH 2-0 RAN (2-0) (FT)

It's all over at the Waldstadion, and Frankfurt have failed to break down the Spurs defence. Dominic Solanke's penalty in the first half remains the decisive goal, and Ange's team are through to the next round.

As a recap, TWO of the four matches have finished, and the other two are on to extra-time. Here's how the scorelines look like after 90 minutes plus added time of football:

What a dramatic turnaround from Lazio! Matteo Guendouzi finds Boulaye Dia with an inviting cross from the left touchline, and the substitute forward heads home from close quarters. Lazio have a one goal cushion now.

Bodo/Glimt, who have had seven attempts on target, need find a goal quickly to keep their dream continental run alive.

LAZ 3-0 BOD (3-2) (99')

What on earth happened to Man United? The Red Devils could not close down Malick Fofana, who ran from the touchline to the box. The Belgian is clobbered by Dalot, and before the away side can shout "Penalty", Rayan Cherki comes from the edge of the box to shoot the loose ball past Onana towards the bottom corner.

The 10 men of Lyon are leading at Old Trafford -- can you believe it!

MUN 2-3 LYO (4-5) (104')

Malick Fofana's pace is too much for the Man United defends to deal with, and Luke Shaw brings the winger down in the box to give Lyon a gift -- a chance for the away side to seal the deal.

Never really in doubt! Alex Lacazette is the man you want to take the deciding penalty in extra time, and the veteran striker is as cool as ice. A staggered run-up, and he sends Onana the wrong way to give Lyon a two-goal lead. Man United need something extraordinary to come back from this position.

MUN 2-4 OL (4-6) (109')

Another twist in Bodo/Glimt's tale, as the Norwegian club get an equaliser through Andreas Helmersen. Isaak Dybvik Maata chipped the ball in from the left, and Helmersen heads it past the Lazio keeper to level the tie!

Just ten minutes or so left until we head to penalties.

LAZ 3-1 BOD (3-3) (109')

Manchester United are not giving up. Casemiro is brought down in the box by goalscorer Tagliafico, and the referee points to the spot. A VAR check confirms the call, and the home side get a lifeline.

Bruno Fernandes is unsurprisingly the one to take the kick, and the Red Devils captain hits it hard and low. Perri guesses the right way but the strike is unsaveable. Just one goal between the two teams now.

MUN 3-4 OL (5-6) (114')

Remarkable game, this. Kobbie Mainoo pulls out a finish for the ages, seeing off the challenge from two Lyon defenders to swirl it past Perri. It's an exquisite finsih, and the home side are level.

MUN 4-4 OL (6-6) (120')

WOULD YOU BELIEVE IT?! It's two goals in two minutes for Manchester United. Casemiro and Harry Maguire -- two players how have enjoyed their fair share of criticism over the seasons -- combine to give United a late, late lead. The Brazilian found the centre-back in the box, and Maguire made no mistake, heading it past Perri. The Theatre of Dreams erupts with joy.

MUN 5-4 OL (7-6) (120+1')

It's full time in Italy, and we are on to penalty shootouts. 3-1 on the night, 3-3 on the aggregate, and it will be decided with spot kicks.

LAZ 3-1 BOD (3-3) (AET)

Oh. My. Word. The match -- one of the best in recent European knockout memories -- comes to an end, and itis Manchester United's night. Lyon will be heartbroken, fighting back so valiantly after a harsh red card for Tolisso. But the late heroics from Kobbie Mainoo and Harry Maguire means that Ruben Amorim's men will go through to the semis.

What a historic moment for Bodo/Glimt!! They came down from 3-0 down to score the extra-time goal to levle the aggregate scores, and then went down to 10 minute in the 120th minute.

They missed their first spot kick, but kept their calm and their wits, and eventually outshone their more glamorous opponent ot win it 3-2 in the penalties.

Just to let you know: This is the first time ever that a Norwegian team has progressed to the semi-final stage of the UEFA Europa League. Groundbreaking.
