Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Jr, Antonio Rudiger, and Dani Ceballos will be formally probed by UEFA over their celebratory antics at the Metropolitano Stadium after Los Blancos secured a 4-2 win on penalties against cross-town rivals Atletico.
Antonio Rudiger put his hand around his neck, signifying a throat-slitting gesture that went viral on social media. Meanwhile, Mbappe was filmed allegedly grabbing his crotch towards the Rojiblancos fans.
Vinicius Jr and Dani Ceballos will also be investigated in connection with alleged confrontations with the home fans, even though Ceballos was injured and did not play in the game.
What Will Happen To The Real Madrid Players Being Probed?
UEFA has announced that they have appointed an ethics and disciplinary officer to investigate the allegations, which Atletico Madrid reported to the governing body last week.
