India will face-off against China in the Women's Asian Champions Trophy 2024 final at the Rajgir Hockey Stadium in Bihar on Wednesday, November 20, and the game is scheduled to start at 4:45 PM.

India have won all their six matches in the tournament, including a 3-0 win over their final opponents China in the group stage, and made it to the final after beating Japan 2-0 in the semis on Tuesday.

It has been an action packed first quarter but both teams looking promising. India have been the better side on the attacking front, while China have been firm at the back.

China get the second quarter underway, and they will hope to continue their solidity at the back, but will be unhappy with how they have not penerated India's defence on numerous occasions.

This one feels like a boxing game thus far. China earn their first penalty corner but the drag flick is blocked, and while they go again off the rebound, Savita makes a stunning stop. Brilliant keeping.

IND 0-0 CHN 19'

Sensational defending again from India as China fail to capitalise on yet another penalty corner. With seven minutes before half-time, both teams are going for it. In the process, Sangita has been shown a green card for handling the ball.

And that's the half-time whistle, and it remains goalless. China will be very happy with their defending duties but the attacking progress needs to grow.

Whereas for India, they scored three against China in the second half earlier in the tournament, but can they do it under pressure in a final?

What a start for India in the third quarter!! Great display of hockey IQ and Deepika puts the hosts ahead. No brute power, but pure timing. India are ahead early on in the third quarter.

China are now struggling to get the back back, and have been losing it within seconds when they win it. India have been sensational so far and will be hoping to double their lead to firmly go ahead.

India have missed a chance to go 2-0 up as Deepika has failed to convert her penalty stroke as the score remains 1-0 with two minutes to go in the third quarter. Is that the inspiration China needs to get back into the game?

India are ahead but only just with 15 minutes to go in the final. Can they hold on? Or do China have one last push where they come level? All to play for in the last 15

India have been solid in defence as Vaishnavi stops Chen Jiali inside the circle with a good tackle. They enter the circle again, but this time, they have been pushed away by Sushila.

India make it two on the trot and win their first trophy under Harendra Singh as the hosts prove a point under pressure. The celebrations have begun. The congratulations have started to pour in.
