The change in leadership came at a curious time, with the playoffs about two weeks away and with the Grizzlies sitting in fifth place in the Western Conference at 44-29. Memphis is 3 ½ games behind the Houston Rockets for the No. 2 seed in the West.

Memphis have gone 9-13 over their last 22 games with a -1.8 points per game differential.

The Grizzlies are 1-4 on their current road trip and lost 125-104 to the Oklahoma City Thunder on Thursday night.

“I'm genuinely appreciative바카라 웹사이트of Taylor's contributions to this team and this city over the past six seasons,” Grizzlies general manager Zach Kleiman said in a statement. “This was a difficult decision, given the consistent and tangible development of our players and overall success under Taylor's leadership.

“I wish Taylor the very best going forward.”

No further details were given regarding Jenkins’ dismissal or the timing of the decision.

Jenkins, hired in 2019, became the Grizzlies’ all-time wins leader earlier this season and amassed a 250-214 record (.539 winning percentage), including three play-off appearances.

In 2021-22, Jenkins led the Grizzlies to a 56-win campaign, tying the franchise record.
