The NC Classic will be held as a one-day javelin throw meet and has been recognised as a World Athletics ‘A’ category event, placing it on par with a Continental Tour Gold level competition in terms of ranking points.

The World Athletics Continental Tour was introduced in 2020 as the successor to the World Challenge series. It is considered the second tier of global track and field, just below the Diamond League.

The tour features four levels, Gold, Silver, Bronze and Challenger, each offering varying degrees of ranking points and international exposure.

The international javelin meet will bring together top male and female athletes from around the world, with two-time Olympic medallist, Chopra headlining the lineup. It offers Indian fans a rare opportunity to experience world-class javelin competition live on home soil.

Chopra라이브 바카라 last appearance on home soil was at the National Federation Senior Athletics Competition in Bhubaneswar in 2024, where he threw 82.27 metres as part of his build-up to the Paris Olympics.

The NC Classic 2025 will be a key qualification event for the World Athletics Championships in Tokyo, scheduled from September 13 to 21.

While it presents a golden chance for many athletes to secure their place, Chopra will not be chasing a mark, the reigning world champion has already punched his ticket to the global stage.
