Ahead of the Super Bow, the focus will also be on the commercials during the game. The commercials aired during the mid-break, are known to be the most expensive advertising space globally, as top companies look to showcase their content to the larger audience.
However, not all commercials lived up to the hype. Some were deemed class whilst some were given thumbs down for being either offensive, or meaningless.
Here's a look at the top five worst commercials made for the Super Bowl -
Kendall Jenner Pepsi Ad: Major soft-drink brand Pepsi roped in socialite Kendall Jenner for an advertisement. The ad had Jenner calling an end to racism at a time when USA were going throw protests around 'Black Lives Matter'. The ad was criticized for being tone-deaf and failed to generate any coverage.
The Fiat 500x Ad: The FIAT 500x advertisement was met with criticism after it showed the car having the Viagra pill and grows exponentially.
Jason Momoa Ad: Aquaman star Jason Momoa starred in this Rocket Mortgage advertisement wherein the Hollywood actor is shown undergoing a disturbing transformation. Fans of Momoa were shocked and stunned to see the actor transform from a superhero to a thin, almost-bald looking figure.
Taco Bell Ad: This Super Bowl advertisement featuring singer Doja Cat sees the singer don a clown costume and transforms into her sexy look post eating the Taco Bell's sauce. The ad though failed to attract the viewers.
GoDaddy: Supermodel Bar Refaeli featured in this GoDaddy advertisement for the Super Bowl back in 2013 wherein the model is seen seated besides a geeky guy and the two conclude by kissing that was deemed gross for the smaller audience.
