The global women라이브 바카라 team competition, often referred to as the “World Cup of Tennis,” enters a crucial phase with the qualifiers that will determine the final lineup for the season-ending event in China later this year.
India라이브 바카라 campaign in the Billie Jean King Cup 2025 Asia-Oceania Group I will kick off on Tuesday at the Deccan Gymkhana in Pune, as the nation plays host to a high-stakes week of women라이브 바카라 tennis.
The prestigious team tournament features six nations — India, Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong China, Republic of Korea, New Zealand and Thailand — battling it out in a round-robin format, with the top two teams progressing to the playoffs later this year in November.
Leading the five-member squad is India라이브 바카라 top-ranked singles player Ankita Raina (world No. 207), joined by Sahaja Yamalapalli, Shrivalli Bhamidipaty, Vaidehi Chaudhari, and doubles specialist Prarthana Thombare. Teenager Maaya Rajeshwaran Revathi is the reserve player. The team will be guided by captain Vishal Uppal and coach Radhika Kanitkar.
Each of the six qualifying groups consists of three teams playing in a round-robin format, where only the group winners will advance to the finals. These six teams will join automatic entrants — hosts China and defending champions Italy — to complete the eight-nation draw.
Matches will follow a compact format: two singles rubbers and a doubles tie, played over three days, with each team receiving one rest day during the cycle.
The stakes are high: while the top two move forward, the bottom two face relegation to Group II in 2026. An additional qualification spot will also be offered to one of the teams across the three Group I regions — Europe/Africa, Americas or Asia/Oceania — though the selection criteria are yet to be confirmed.
India, who finished third in this group last year in China, are hoping to return to the playoffs — a stage they last reached in 2021.
Four groups will be contested on hard courts, while Group E in Poland and Group F in the Netherlands will unfold on clay — offering a unique challenge to the players involved.
This year라이브 바카라 qualifiers promise to be fiercely competitive, bolstered by the presence of some of the world라이브 바카라 biggest stars. World No. 3 Jessica Pegula leads a determined USA squad looking to bounce back from their early exit at the 2024 finals. Pegula, fresh off her title in Charleston, will pair with the in-form Danielle Collins as they face Denmark and hosts Slovakia in Group C.
Group D features a high-stakes showdown between hosts Australia and Kazakhstan, with world No. 9 Elena Rybakina aiming to power her side into the finals for the first time since 2022.
Meanwhile, Olympic gold medalist Belinda Bencic headlines Switzerland라이브 바카라 challenge in Group E, where she will be tested by Ukraine라이브 바카라 strong duo of Elina Svitolina (world No. 18) and Marta Kostyuk (No. 25).
Great Britain, led by top-ranked Katie Boulter, are in a wide-open Group F alongside the Netherlands and Germany, who will look to young talent Eva Lys for inspiration.
Notably, several top stars will be absent. World No. 2 Iga Swiatek has opted to skip the qualifiers to prepare for the clay season, and Britain라이브 바카라 Emma Raducanu has also withdrawn. In addition, Daria Kasatkina — now representing Australia — is ineligible for this edition.
