The Brit was due to face Ekaterina Alexandrova on Friday, but she withdrew from the tournament due to injury, meaning she instead played lucky loser Teichmann.
The first set went on serve to 2-2 before Raducanu reeled off four straight games to take the lead.
She continued her momentum in the third set, earning another early break and wrapping up victory with just her second ace of the match.
The Brit will now take on Veronika Kudermetova after she defeated 15th seed Amanda Anisimova 7-6 7-5.
Mirra Andreeva also made it through to the third round with a straight-sets win over Colombian Emiliana Arango.
The seventh seed won 6-2 6-4 and now faces Linda Noskova.
Data Debrief: Andreeva continues rapid rise
Andreeva has enjoyed great success already this season, with the 18-year-old having won two WTA 1000 events earlier in the year.
She defeated Clara Tauson in the final to win in Dubai and then followed that up with a superb victory over world number one Aryna Sabalenka at Indian Wells.
The 18-year-old's latest win means she is the second-youngest player to register 18 wins in Tier1/WTA-1000 events in a single season, just behind Martina Hingis in 1998, who managed 22.
