Verity, starring Anne Hathaway, and Dakota Johnson, has locked its release date. The Amazon MGM's Studio led adaptation of Colleen Hoover's 2018 novel, will hit the screens on May 15, 2026, as per Variety.
Directed by Michael Showalter, the upcoming psychological thriller also stars Josh Hartnett, Ismael Cruz Cordóva and Brady Wagner in key roles.
Hathaway, Hoover, Antosca, Stacey Sher, Showalter, Alex Hedlund, and Jordana Mollick have served as the producers, while Johnson, Lauren Levine and Kerry Orent are the executive producers.
As per Variety, the film라이브 바카라 official logline reads: “Struggling writer Lowen Ashleigh is hired as a ghostwriter for renowned author Verity Crawford under mysterious circumstances, but her assignment takes a dark turn after discovering chilling autobiographical notes. Faced with a series of deadly family secrets, Lowen struggles to separate fiction from reality, while also blurring the lines with Verity라이브 바카라 husband, Jeremy.”
The current script of Verity is penned by Nick Antosca. Previous versions were written by Hoover and Lauren Levine, Hillary Seitz, Angela LaManna, and Will Honley and April Maguire.
Verity was self-published by Hoover in 2018 and was later acquired by Grand Central Publishing in 2021. It was in the New York Times Best Sellers list for months and more than one million copies was sold in 2023 alone.
For the unversed, Hoover's earlier adaptation of the novel It Ends With Us, starring Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, received rave reviews from critics and audiences. Released in August 2024, the film collected more than 346 million USD at the worldwide box office, as per reports.
