Actor Michelle Trachtenberg, best known for her roles in Gossip Girl, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer, has passed away. She was 39.
As per a report in AP, police responded to a 911 call after 8 am at a 51-story luxury apartment tower in Manhattan라이브 바카라 Hell라이브 바카라 Kitchen neighborhood, where the cops found Trachtenberg "unconscious and unresponsive,” as per NYPD statement.
She was declared dead by the paramedics at the scene. Police confirmed no foul play was suspected and the New York Medical Examiner is investigating the cause of Michelle Trachtenberg's death.
Trachtenberg라이브 바카라 representative, Gary Mantoosh, in a statement, on Wednesday said, “The family requests privacy for their loss''.
Trachtenberg began her career as a child artiste when she was just 8. She played Nona Mecklenberg on Nickelodeon라이브 바카라 The Adventures of Pete & Pete from 1994 to 1996 and played the titular character in the 1996 film Harriet The Spy, where she starred alongside Rosie O'Donnell. She was also in the title role in Inspector Gadget, opposite Matthew Broderick.
In 2000, Michelle appeared in Buffy, where she played Dawn Summers, the younger sister of lead character played by Sarah Michelle Gellar between 2000 and 2003.
In 2001, she received a Daytime Emmy nomination for hosting Discovery라이브 바카라 Truth or Scare. She also starred in Six Feet Under, Weeds, and Gossip Girl. In Gossip Girl, she played the gang라이브 바카라 nemesis, Georgina Sparks.
In 2021, she also made guest appearances in the Gossip Girl revival.
In 2004, she appeared in teen sex comedy EuroTrip, in 2005, she played a math prodigy and aspiring figure skater in Ice Princess and in 2009 she featured in 17 Again.
In the 2013 film, Killing Kennedy, Trachtenberg played the wife of Lee Harvey Oswald.
Her other works include Mysterious Skin, Black Christmas, and Mercy among others.
Michelle Trachtenberg's Gossip Girl co-star Blake Lively mourned her death on Instagram. She wrote, “The world lost a deeply sensitive and good person in Michelle. May her work and her huge heart be remembered by those who were lucky enough to experience her fire.''
Her Buffy the Vampire Slayer co-star David Boreanaz wrote on Instagram it was “so very sad.. horrible news.”
Rosie O’Donnell called her demise “heartbreaking'' and added, “I loved her very much. She struggled the last few years. I wish I could have helped.”
Glee star Chris Colfer wrote, “Michelle was the absolute sweetest and one of the most supportive people I knew''.
Michelle's A Holiday for Love co-star wrote, “My heart aches for your family and all those who loved you so.”
