John Wick Chapter 5: Keanu Reeves To Return As Hitman In The Upcoming Instalment

Keanu Reeves is returning to John Wick: Chapter 5. The upcoming fifth instalment was announced at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

Actor Keanu Reeves is all set to return as the legendary hitman John Wick in the fifth part of the John Wick franchise. The upcoming instalment was confirmed on Tuesday, April 1, at CinemaCon in Las Vegas.

As per a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Lionsgate confirmed the fifth instalment with Keanu Reeves.

Reeves is reuniting with director Chad Stahelski for John Wick: Chapter 5.

John Wick 5 is being developed by Lionsgate in collaboration with producers Basil Iwanyk and Erica Lee, along with director-producer Chad Stahelski and producer, actor Keanu Reeves.

Lionsgate Motion Picture Group chair Adam Fogelson shared, “Keanu, Chad, Basil, and Erica would not return unless they had something truly phenomenal and fresh to say with these characters and this world. We can’t wait for audiences to see where the journey takes us next''.

The fourth instalment, which came in 2023, grossed over 440 million dollar worldwide. The climax of the film showed Ian McShane라이브 바카라 Winston and Laurence Fishburne라이브 바카라 Bowery King standing at a grave showing Wick라이브 바카라 name.

Keanu will appear in John Wick spin-off, John Wick: Ballerina, before he returns for John Wick 5. It stars Ana de Armas in key role and Keanu Reeves. The new trailer which released recently, shows Armas' character squaring off against deadly rivals. She also faces off against Wick, who has been apparently sent to kill her.

The story of Ballerina takes place in between John Wick: Chapter 3 — Parabellum and John Wick: Chapter 4.

Ballerina has been directed by Len Wiseman and written by Shay Hatten. Chad Stahelski, who directed the first four John Wick films, has produced the spin-off.

The film is set to hit the theatres on June 6, 2025.

The franchise is also expanding with an animated prequel film and a Caine-centric standalone adventure from director-actor Donnie Yen.
