Actor Richard Chamberlain, best known for his roles in Dr Kildare, Shogun and The Thorn Birds, has breathed his last. He was 90.

He died Saturday, March 29.

Chamberlain라이브 바카라 death was confirmed to Variety by his publicist Harlan Boll. Boll said Chamberlain passed away in Waimanalo, Hawaii, due to complications following a stroke.

Richard Chamberlain라이브 바카라 longtime partner, Martin Rabbett, in a statement, shared, “Our beloved Richard is with the angels now'' and added, “He is free and soaring to those loved ones before us. How blessed were we to have known such an amazing and loving soul. Love never dies. And our love is under his wings lifting him to his next great adventure.”

Chamberlain was known as the "king of the mini-series" for his leading roles in Centennial, Shogun, and The Thorn Birds.

He got the big break in 1961, with the medical series Dr. Kildare, where he played Dr James Kildare. It was an instant hit and ran through 1966.

Based on a popular 1930s and 40s film series, the show managed to pull viewers, and Chamberlain became the beloved leading man and an idol among the teenagers.

In 1980, he played a western prisoner in Shogun (based on James Clavell라이브 바카라 novel), and became the king of the mini-series.

The actor is best remembered for playing a catholic priest in The Thorn Birds, the adaptation of Colleen McCullough라이브 바카라 romance novel with the same name.

In the small screen, he also played England라이브 바카라 Edward VIII, novelist F. Scott Fitzgerald and World War II hero Raoul Wallenberg.

His other works in television include Cook and Peary: The Race to the Pole, Wallenberg: A Hero라이브 바카라 Story, Night of the Hunter, Casanova, and ABC miniseries version of The Bourne Identity.

Chamberlain made his feature debut in a 1960 horror film, Secret of the Purple Reef. His first major studio film was MGM라이브 바카라 A Thunder of Drums. Later, he starred in several noteworthy films including The Three Musketeers, The Music Lovers, Petulia, and The Last Wave, among others.

He was also part of The Towering Inferno, The Swarm, The Slipper and the Rose, King Solomon라이브 바카라 Mines, Lost City of Gold, Nightmare Cinema, and more.

He also started his recording career in 1962 with Richard Chamberlain Sings and The Theme From Dr. Kildare. He also made appearances on the soundtracks of Twilight of Honor and Joy in the Morning.

Chamberlain won his first Golden Globe for best television star for his performance in Dr. Kildare, followed by second Golden Globe for best actor in a television drama for Shogun. He bagged yet another Golden Globe for best actor in a miniseries or motion picture for TV for The Thorn Birds.
