Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse's fans have to wait a bit longer for the film to watch in theatres. It will be releasing in June, 2027. On Monday, the Spider-Verse team appeared at CinemaCon to announce the film's release date, as per a report in Variety.
Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse, will hit theaters on June 4, 2027. The third part comes after their successful two instalments - Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse.
During the announcement, the first footage from the upcoming film was also shown.
“We know how important this franchise is to so many people around us. We just could not run it back,” said producer Phil Lord and co-directors Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson at CinemaCon. “So, we decided we needed to take the time to make sure we got it just right.”
Lord added ''it's going to be a massive finale to the trilogy.”
Lord also teased that Miles Morales is a fugitive on the run from every other spider in the multiverse. He also hinted that “Gwen and his other friends may or may not be enough to help him save the family that라이브 바카라 been the leading part of the entire system.”
Lord also said that Beyond the Spider-Verse is meant for “the biggest screens.”
“We are prepping this movie especially for your large format screens. It looks insane,'' he added.
Beyond the Spider-Verse is directed by Bob Persichetti and Justin K. Thompson and written by David Callam, with Lord and Christopher Miller, as the co-writers.
Shameik Moore has given the voice for Miles Morales, and Hailee Steinfeld is the voice star for Spider-Gwen.
The first part of the animated trilogy came in 2018 and second instalment in 2023- both successful at the box office. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse received an Animated Feature Oscar and the sequel Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse also bagged a nomination.
