Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who became a pan-India star with Pushpa, is all set to collaborate with filmmaker Atlee for something spectacular. Today, on the occasion of his 43rd birthday, the 'Icon Star' announced his next project with the Jawan director. The upcoming film marks Allu Arjun's 22nd film and Atlee's 6th.
The project is backed by Sun Group라이브 바카라 Kalanithi Maran.
As per a report in Variety, Atlee, in a statement, shared, “This is the film I have always dreamed of making and it라이브 바카라 taken years of quiet work to shape the screenplay into something I truly believe in,'' and added, “To now bring it to life with the Icon Star Allu Arjun Sir, under the visionary leadership of Kalanithi Maran Sir at Sun Pictures, is nothing short of a dream come true.''
He further said, ''The film is mass at its core and magical in its storytelling, crafted to move and entertain audiences worldwide.”
In a video, Allu Arjun and Atlee are seen in the production house's office in Chennai, where they meet producer Kalanithi before heading to the USA.
The video then shows their arrival at the VFX studios in Los Angeles, where they discuss the script with several expert technicians from Hollywood. Jos Fernandez, CEO and Art Director of Ironhead Studio— best known for his work on Spider-Man: Homecoming, Captain America: Civil War, and Avengers: Age of Ultron and James Madigan, a VFX Supervisor and other top technicians are also seen coming together for the upcoming grand project.
The VFX team also raved the script and the vision.
Announcing the news, Allu Arjun shared the video on X and wrote, ''Magic with mass & a world beyond imagination! #AA22 Teaming up with
@Atlee_dir garu for something truly spectacular with the unparalleled support of @sunpictures (sic)''.
Pinkvilla reported that the upcoming film is made on a whopping budget of Rs 800 crore and it will be the most expensive film of Indian cinema after SS Rajamouli's SSMB29.
The portal quoted a source saying, “Allu Arjun is being paid a whopping amount of Rs 175 crore approx. along with a backend deal of 15 per cent stake in profits for a project being backed by production giant Sun Pictures, while Atlee will take away Rs 100 crore fees for his 6th film of the career, thus underscoring his brand value and box-office pull."
The source further said that the Rs 800 crore project will ''cover production cost of Rs 200 crore and a canvas being built on a Rs 250 crore VFX dream''.
The makers are leaving no stone unturned to make Allu Arjun-Atlee's film a pan-Indian spectacle with global appeal.
