Actor-director, Dhanush's upcoming film, Idly Kadai, has got a new release date. Dhanush took to social media to announce the release date of Idly Kadai with a new poster.
The poster shows Dhanush in a crisp shirt, dhoti and a grey scarf around his neck, dancing with a group of people in the background. Apart from acting, Dhanush has also directed the film. Idly Kadai, is all set to hit the screens on October 1, 2025.
It also stars Nithya Menen opposite Dhanush- both reuniting after their 2022 hit Thiruchitrambalam.
On April 4, sharing the poster on Instagram handle, Dhanush wrote, ''Idli kadai from oct 1st (sic)''.
Earlier, the film was scheduled for release on April 10. It has been postponed to avoid box-office clash with Ajith Kumar's Good Bad Ugly.
Idly Kadai marks Dhanush's third directorial after his 2017's Pa Paandi and 2024's Raayan.
The music of the film is composed by GV Prakash, cinematography is done by Kiran Koushik, and Prasanna GK has taken care of the editing. The film has been jointly produced by Dhanush under his banner, Wunderbar Films, along with Aakash Baskaran라이브 바카라 Dawn Pictures.
Apart from Dhanush and Nithya Menen, the film also stars Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Prakash Raj and Rajkiran, among others in significant roles.
