Prithviraj Sukumaran라이브 바카라 directorial L2: Empuraan, starring Mohanlal in the lead role, has hit theatres worldwide today, March 27. The political action thriller has created a lot of buzz ahead of its release and makers have left no stones unturned to make it a huge success. The early reviews on X (formerly Twitter) are out and it seems audiences are loving the Mohanlal-Prithviraj starrer.

As per reports, Empuraan has become the first Malayalam film ever to sell 1 million tickets in advance on the online ticketing platform, Book My Show.
As of now, Empuraan has earned around 7.08 crore India net on its first day for all languages, as per a report in Sacnilk.

Several reports claim that Empuraan has been leaked online. As per a report in Times Now, the movie is now available on the websites including Filmyzilla, Movierulez, Telegram and Tamilrockerz.
Apart from Mohanlal and Prithviraj, the film also stars Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Indrajith Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, and Suraj Venjaramoodu, among others in key roles. International actors Eriq Ebouaney and Jerome Flynn, are also part of the movie.
Empuraan is jointly produced by Antony Perumbavoor, Gokulam Gopalan, and A. Subaskaran under Aashirvad Cinemas, Sree Gokulam Movies, and Lyca Productions, respectively. It is written by Murali Gopy. Sujith Vaassudev has served as the director of photography and Akhilesh Mohan as the editor. Deepak Dev has composed the music.
