As Delhi voters cast their ballots on Wednesday in the high-stakes assembly elections, allegations of fraudulent voting and vote-buying emerged in various parts of the national capital, causing a stir among political leaders and the public.
In Seelampur, a BJP leader accused individuals dressed in burqas of attempting to vote illegally. However, the Delhi Police swiftly denied any instances of fake voting in the area. Local resident Safdar Ali, speaking to PTI, countered the claim, emphasising that strict security measures and multiple layers of voter ID checks ensured the validity of all votes cast at the polling booth.

Despite police assurances, the BJP라이브 바카라 accusations sparked high drama outside the booth, with several party leaders chanting slogans against the alleged fraud. The Delhi Police, citing the presence of security personnel and additional paramilitary forces, reassured the public that the situation remained under control.
Meanwhile, in Kasturba Nagar, two men were reportedly caught trying to vote fraudulently at a polling station in the Andrews Ganj area. The police apprehended the suspects, who are currently under interrogation. Authorities also investigated a separate claim made by a woman who alleged that someone had cast a vote in her name. However, further verification revealed that a tenant in her house had cast the vote on her behalf, leading to both women being allowed to vote after clarification
The drama extended beyond Seelampur and Kasturba Nagar, with accusations flying between the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). AAP candidate from Greater Kailash, Saurabh Bharadwaj, accused the police of deliberately blocking voters in Chirag Dilli by setting up barricades around the area. Bharadwaj shared a video on social media showing a woman stranded near a barricade, alleging that this was an attempt to obstruct access to polling stations.
Adding to the allegations, AAP라이브 바카라 senior leader Manish Sisodia claimed that money was being distributed in the Jungpura area by BJP members. A video shared by Sisodia showed the alleged distribution, prompting him to urge the police to raid the location.
In response, AAP라이브 바카라 Rajya Sabha MP, Sanjay Singh, accused BJP workers of distributing money near the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Singh shared a video on social media, showing people dispersing as he arrived at booth no. 27. “When I reached there, they ran away,’’ Singh stated, calling the situation a “joke.”
In a post on social media, AAP further alleged that BJP workers were using a building in Jangpura to distribute money to voters. The party accused the Delhi Police and Election Commission of turning a blind eye to the activities, calling for immediate action to preserve the integrity of the election process. However, the Delhi Police dismissed these allegations, stating that the claims could not be substantiated.
On the other hand, BJP President Virendra Sachdeva accused AAP of facilitating fake voting in the capital. “There is a wave of change in Delhi. People are voting against the corrupt government. Now, this ‘AAP-da’ – the ‘farzi’ (fake) government – has come to the extent where it is facilitating fake voting,” Sachdeva said in an interview with ANI. He cited the reports of fraudulent voting in the Kasturba Nagar constituency as evidence of AAP라이브 바카라 alleged role in the misconduct.
Voting is underway in all 70 constituencies of Delhi, with the final count scheduled for February 8.
