"Damage to the Yangon-Nay Pyi Taw-Mandalay expressway led to service disruptions, with cracks and surface distortions forcing highway buses to halt operations", the UN agency said in a statement.
Meanwhile, as Myanmar works from the aftermath of this earthquake, the global aid effort continues. India, Israel, China and many other nations have sent in aid and rescue teams to Burma to help with the relief effort. Organisations such as OCHA, WHO and more have also sent in aid and teams to Myanmar.
