Diplomats from US, Ukraine and European nations are set to hold a meeting in London on Wednesday in their bid to establish a peace deal between Kyiv and Moscow. The meeting is followed by discussions in Paris last week that would ascertain the possibilities of a ceasefire and how a long-term peace deal can be achieved. The meeting was earlier supposed to involve foreign ministers but was revised overnight. The US Secretary of State Marco Rubio would be unable to mark his presence due to a scheduling issue.

The attendees of the meeting now include Lt. Keith Kellogg, President Donald Trump라이브 바카라 envoy for Ukraine and Russia. According to reports, the U.S. officials had earlier put forward a proposal that involved allowing Russia to keep the captured territory in exchange for a potential peace agreement. Ukraine President Volodymir Zelenskyy rejected the proposal stating, “There is nothing to talk about - it is our land, the land of the Ukrainian people”. Russia has currently partial or total control over regions like Crimea, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson.

Rubio has given inclinations that the US would soon pull out of the negotiations if the talks are not materialised into any action. Dave Pares, Prime Minister Keir Starmer라이브 바카라 spokesman has stated that this is the moment for President Putin to prove whether or not he is serious about peace talks.

Donald Trump had earlier promised during his campaign that he would bring an end to the war in Ukraine. Both nations held talks separately with the US in Saudi Arabia but no ceasefire was achieved along the frontline. Russia had earlier agreed to a 30-hour Easter ceasefire post which it re-opened the attack on Ukraine. The Kremlin had rejected President Zelenskyy's offer of extending the ceasefire by 30 days and resumed the military action in Kherson.
