Bollywood actor Salman Khan received fresh death threats on Sunday, another in a series the actor has received in the past few years. In April 2024, unidentified persons on a bike opened fire outside his residence at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra.

The death threat on Sunday was sent via WhatsApp to the Worli Transport Department라이브 바카라 official number. “The message warned to kill Salman Khan at his residence and blow up his vehicle using a bomb," police said.

A case has been registered at the Worli police station against unidentified person under section 351(2) (3) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, according to PTI.

Security has been heightened around Khan's residence.

Why repeated death threats?

Khan has long been on the watchlist of the jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, whose gang last year took responsibility for the high profile assassinations of three-time-MLA Baba Siddique and famous Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu - popularly known as Siddhu Moose Wala - in 2022.

It has been claimed that the bone of contention between Khan and Bishnoi is the alleged 1998 blackbuck hunting case against Khan. Blackbucks are revered by the Bishnoi community.

Bishnoi - who has been in jail since 2014 - during his court appearance in 2018 said, "We will kill Salman Khan in Jodhpur. Everyone will know once we take action. I have not done anything as of now, they are accusing me of crimes for no reason."

What happened in November 2024?

The actor received threats twice within a week in November through a WhatsApp message sent to the Mumbai Police. The message read that either "he should go to our temple and apologize or give Rs. 5 Crore," ANI reported.

"If he does not do so, we will kill him, our gang is still active," the message said further in the name of Bishnoi's brother.

In the threat preceding this, also received by Mumbai Police Traffic Control, the actor was asked to pay a ransom of Rs. 2 crore for his safety.

Khan라이브 바카라 response to the death threats

Khan recently responded to the death threats during the promotion of his movie ‘Sikandar’, saying that it gets inconvenient to travel in a heavily-guarded motorcade. He said to the media, "Bhagwan aur Allah sab un par hai. Jitni umar likhi hai, utni likhi hai. Bas yahi hai.” (God and Allah are watching over me. My life will be as long as fate permits. That's it.)

After last April라이브 바카라 round of shooting outside his residence, police arrested six suspects and extensively questioned Salman Khan and his brother Arbaaz Khan.

According to NDTV, the plan was to either ambush Salman Khan라이브 바카라 vehicle or attack his farmhouse in Panvel. The attack was orchestrated by jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, his Canada-based cousin Anmol Bishnoi, and associate Goldie Brar, who had acquired AK47s, M-16s, including other high-caliber weapons from a Pakistani arms dealer.
