Nikita Singhania, the estranged wife of Bengaluru techie Atul Subhash, who died by suicide on December 9, has denied allegations of harassment during her police interrogation. Subhash, 34, left behind a video and a 48-page note accusing Nikita and her family of harassment and extortion.
During questioning, Nikita, 29, claimed that she did not harass her husband. Instead, she stated that it was she who had been harassed by him and that she had been staying away from him for nearly three years. "If I harassed him for money, why would I stay away from him?" she was quoted by the Bengaluru Police, according to Times of India.
"We will investigate the case thoroughly and file a chargesheet in court if the allegations made by Atul are proved," the police officer said.
Nikita Singhania, along with her mother Nisha and brother Anurag, was arrested in connection with an abetment to suicide case. The three were sent to 14-day judicial custody on Sunday. Subhash, before committing suicide, left an 80-minute-long video and a 24-page suicide note in which he accused his wife and in-laws of harassment and extorting money from him.
Social Media Backlash
Following the death of Subhash, Nikita has become the target of slurs and character assassination on social media. Users have alleged that Nikita misused domestic violence and divorce laws.
There has been an outpouring of support for Subhash, with users arguing that the legal system unfairly affects innocent men and their families.
Public outrage has been particularly focused on Accenture, where Nikita works. Many netizens have called on the company to take immediate action and terminate her employment. In the wake of these demands, Accenture has made their social media account private.
Subhash라이브 바카라 Suicide Note
In his video and suicide note, Subhash claimed that his wife had filed multiple false cases against him and demanded Rs 2 lakh per month in maintenance for herself and their four-year-old son. In his four-page-long note, Subhash alleged that his wife had "instigated him to die by suicide" on multiple occasions and that her family had repeatedly harassed him for money. When he refused their demands, Nikita reportedly left their Bengaluru home with their son in 2021.
Subhash wrote, “My wife will keep my child alienated and file more cases to harass me, my elderly parents, and my brother, using the money I pay her as maintenance. Instead of using it for our child's welfare, she is weaponizing it against us.”
Nikita라이브 바카라 Previous Police Complaint
In 2022, Nikita Singhania had filed a police complaint alleging harassment and assault by Subhash for dowry. However, Subhash라이브 바카라 suicide note contradicted Nikita라이브 바카라 claim about her father라이브 바카라 death. Subhash mentioned that Nikita라이브 바카라 claim that her father died due to shock from her family라이브 바카라 dowry demand was false. He alleged that her father passed away from a heart-related ailment.
