Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is once again in the headlines. This time around, the Bihar leader has been accused of inappropriately touching a woman during an event with Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
In the video, Kumar can be seen tugging at the arm of a woman and later placing his arm around her shoulders as he made the woman stand facing the journalists and photographers at the event.
Sharing this video, the opposition RJD hit out at the Bihar CM and questioned Kumar's objectionable mannerisms.
"Just see how Chief Minister Nitish Kumar is pulling towards himself a woman in an objectionable manner with Home Minister Amit Shah looking on,” the RJD posted on X, adding that "Bihar is being shamed by the chief minister, who is unwell, and the BJP, which is helpless."
Before this incident, Kumar sparked a row for talking and gesturing during the national anthem at a function in Patna. Kumar's actions triggered the opposition to demand for his resignation.
At least please do not insult the national anthem, Hon'ble Chief Minister. You insult youth, students, women and elderly people every day. Sometimes they clap on Mahatma Gandhi's martyrdom day and mock his martyrdom, and sometimes they clap on the national anthem!" RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav said on X.
