The first photo of 26/11 Mumbai terror attack mastermind Tahawwur Hussain Rana being handed over to the Indian authorities have been made available by the Office of Public Affairs, US Department of Justice. 

The image shows a shackled Rana from behind - being escorted by US Marshals while he is being transferred over to the Indian authorities.

Rana - a Pakistani national and Canadian citizen - was successfully extradited from the United States on Thursday and was consequently arrested by National Investigation Agency (NIA) at Delhi라이브 바카라 Indira Gandhi International Airport upon arrival.

He is now in the custody of NIA, who produced him before the NIA Special Court at Patiala House, New Delhi. 

The court sent Rana to 18-day NIA custody on Friday, after which he was taken from the Patiala House courts complex to NIA headquarters in a heavily-guarded convoy escorted by Delhi Police's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) and other security forces.

He will be investigated and questioned for the 2008 attack which injured over 238 people and left 166 people dead, said NIA.

“NIA had secured Rana라이브 바카라 extradition from the US following years of sustained efforts, and after the terror mastermind라이브 바카라 last-ditch effort to get a stay on his extradition from the US failed, Rana was brought to New Delhi this evening, escorted by teams of NSG and NIA, comprising senior officials, on a special plane from Los Angeles, US,” NIA posted on X in the early hours of Friday.
