The Indian Forces maintained full readiness during the ceasefire violation by Pakistan, Vice Admiral AN Pramod said on May 11.

“Our forces remained deployed in the Arabian sea with full readiness and capacity to strike select targets including Karachi at time of our choosing,” Vice Admiral Pramod said at the press conference.
Ceasefire Violation
A few hours after the ceasefire understanding was reached, blackout measures were reimposed in Jammu & Kashmir and Punjab following reports of drone sightings and explosion-like sounds.
The blackout protocol was soon extended to Gujarat, Rajasthan, and parts of Haryana as a precautionary measure. As per reports, several districts including Kutch, Jamnagar, Santalpur Taluka, Patan, Banaskantha, Jodhpur, Jaisalmer, Srinagar, Hoshiarpur, Ferozepur, Fazilka, Pathankot, Patiala, Moga, Kapurthala, Amritsar, and Muktsar enforced the blackout orders.
Pakistani drones were reportedly spotted over Srinagar and other areas in Jammu & Kashmir as well as parts of Gujarat, raising concerns over a possible ceasefire violation. At 11 PM, the Indian government officially confirmed that a ceasefire breach had occurred, although Pakistan denied any violation.
Despite the tensions, there were no reports of overnight shelling or firing along the Line of Control or the international border. Nevertheless, Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir, and Gujarat continue to remain on high alert.
