Deposed Bangladesh prime minister Sheikh Hasina라이브 바카라 Awami League has been banned in the country by the interim government, PTI has reported.
The move comes amid growing pressure from the newly formed National Citizen Party, Islamist groups and civil society groups.
On May 8 and 9, hundreds of activists of the National Citizen Party, led by student protesters who played a key role in Hasina라이브 바카라 ouster on 5 August last year, gathered outside chief advisor Muhammad Yunus’ residence ‘Jamuna’ demanding that the Awami League be outlawed.
On Friday, May 9, Yunus had said on Friday, that the government was “seriously considering” the ban and that a decision on the matter “would be made soon”.
