A newborn infant was found dead in the dustbin of the toilets at Mumbai's Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport. The incident, which took place at Terminal 2, left airport officials shocked.
As per reports, the dead body of the baby was found around 10:30 PM on Tuesday. The body was then sent to Cooper Hospital, where doctor's declared the baby dead on arrival.
Mumbai's Sahar Police have launched a probe and filed a complaint against unknown persons. Investigators are reviewing the CCTV footage to trace how the infant was left in the dustbin.
