The Chief Justice of India (CJI) Sanjiv Khanna along with other Supreme Court judges are all set to declare their assets publicly. All 33 Supreme Court judges will disclose their asset details on the court라이브 바카라 website.

The decision was taken on April 1 at a full court meeting where every judge agreed to make their asset details public. A resolution in this regard was adopted and it will be applicable on future judges also.

Among the 33 Supreme court judges, some of them, Chief Justice of India Sanjiv Khanna, Justice Bhushan Ramkrishna Gavai, Justice Vikram Nath, Justice JK Maheshwari and Justice BV Nagarathna have already submitted their asset details.

This move can be seen as a remedy of growing concerns over judicial controversies like the recent Justice Varma case. On April 14, following a fire incident, bundles of burnt cash were found at the residence of the Delhi High Court judge Justice Yashwant Varma.

Though he had denied involvement with any wrongdoing. Soon after the controversy started, he was transferred to Allahabad High Court though the Supreme court has mentioned that his transfer is not linked with the controversy.

This initiative for judicial transparency which will help in a better communication with citizens and positive image building of SC라이브 바카라 activities.

As per a 1997 resolution, the Supreme Court judges were supposed to share their asset details to the Chief Justice only. A new resolution came in the year 2009, where it allowed voluntary publication of these details on the website of the court which was not mandatory. The new move has seen a significant shift from voluntary to compulsory declaration of Supreme court judges’ assets publicly .
