A chilling crime came to light in Uttar Pradesh's Meerut, where a woman, in collusion with her lover, allegedly stabbed her merchant navy officer husband to death, chopped his body into 15 pieces and stuffed the remains in a cement-filled drum, police said on Tuesday, reports suggest.

The body has been recovered and both accused were arrested, police told PTI.

What Did The Police Say?

The incident took place in Indira Nagar after Merchant Navy employee Saurabh Rajput went missing on March 4.

Additional Superintendent of Police, Ayush Vikram Singh said that investigation has been started after receiving information about the case.

Police detained detained his wife Muskan and her lover, Sahil, PTI reported.

"During interrogation, the two confessed to stabbing Saurabh to death on March 4. The two then chopped up his body, placed the remains in a drum, and sealed it with cement," ASP Ayush said.

"The body has been sent for post-mortem, and a case has been registered based on a complaint from Saurabh라이브 바카라 family," he added.

According to the victim's family, Muskan tried to mislead them by sending messages from Saurabh's phone. After committing the crime, she went to a hill station with Sahil for a vacation, Singh said.

"Saurabh, a resident of Indranagar Phase 2, Brahmpuri, had a love marriage with Muskan Rastogi of Gauripura in 2016. Their families were reportedly unhappy with their relationship, due to which the couple started living separately in a rented house in Indranagar Phase 1 with their three-year-old daughter," police said.
