Winter Session: Parliament Proceedings Adjourned Sine Die Following Uproar Over Ambedkar Row

The Lok Sabha and the Rajya Sabha, lower and upper houses of Parliament, were adjourned sine die on Friday following uproar over the Ambedkar controversy.

In the Lok Sabha, both Opposition and treasury benches intensely protested against the alleged insult to Dr. B.R. Ambedkar and Speaker Om Birla라이브 바카라 directions barring demonstrations at the Parliament gates.

As the House convened for the day, Birla called on Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal to present a resolution for constituting a joint committee of Parliament to examine the bills related to 'One Nation, One Election'. However, slogans of "Jai Bhim" began reverberating in the House as the Speaker read out his directions that prohibited protests demonstrations at Parliament라이브 바카라 gates.

The protests continued despite repeated calls for order. It prompted the Speaker to adjourn the House sine die.

Before the proceedings officially began, Congress members had begun raising slogans of "Jai Bheem, Jai Jai Bheem" in protest against the handling of the Ambedkar issue.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi entered the Lok Sabha amid the slogan. Law Minister Meghwal moved the resolution for the joint committee, but Congress members, led by Manickam Tagore, stormed the Well of the House and raised further slogans.

The protesting Opposition members remained in the Well of the House even as "Vande Mataram" was played in accordance of parliamentary convention at the close of the session.

Apart from the Trinamool Congress (TMC), most Opposition members, including those from the DMK and the NCP, joined the protest from their seats. Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra was also present in the House during the session.
