The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Tuesday, fined Maxwell 25 percent of his match fees and added one demerit point to his name for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during the match in Chandigarh.

Maxwell was found guilty of Level 1 offence as per Article 2.2 of the IPL Code. The BCCI confirmed in a release that the Australian admitted to the offence, and that the decision of the match referee was final and binding.

"Glenn Maxwell, all-rounder, Punjab Kings has been fined 25 per cent of his match fees and has also accumulated one demerit point for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct during his team라이브 바카라 match against Chennai Super Kings at the New PCA Stadium, New Chandigarh on Tuesday," the IPL release said.

While Maxwell's personal outing continued to reflect his ongoing struggles this season, his team had little to complain about. Punjab Kings registered a commanding 18-run victory over the five-time champions, thanks to a blistering century by young Priyansh Arya, who smashed 103 off just 42 deliveries.

His knock laid the foundation for PBKS’ imposing total of 219/6 at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium.

Chennai Super Kings, already under pressure after three consecutive losses, couldn’t get their chase together despite Devon Conway라이브 바카라 steady 69.

The surprise came when Conway was retired out — a tactical move that raised eyebrows. Rachin Ravindra chipped in with 42, while Shivam Dube added 36, but the innings never quite reached top gear.

MS Dhoni tried to inject late drama with a cameo of 27 off 12 balls, but the task was too steep as CSK finished 18 runs short. This was their fourth straight defeat — a worrying slide that leaves them ninth in the points table.
