After being put into bat first, Qalandars flew on their mainstay Fakhar Zaman's half-century to get a brilliant start. Daryl Mitchell and Abdullah Shafique too scored brisk thirties. Sam Billings smashed a 19-ball 50 at the end of the innings to stretch Qalandars' score to 219/6 in 20 overs.
Chasing 220, Gladiators got off to a terrible start as their top three could only add two runs between them. Rilee Russouw played a counter-attacking innings but one he was dismissed for a 19-bal 44 Quetta's chances were over. Shaheen Shah Afridi took two wickets and so did Asif Afridi and Sikandar Raza. Rishad Hossain got three wickets.
