Pakistan will look to build on their 38-run victory over Ireland in the tournament opener. The Fatima Sana-led side had bowled out the Irish for 179 runs in 44 overs after putting 217 runs on the board.
Scotland, too, will eye their second straight victory in the qualifier after prevailing over West Indies by 11 runs. Kathryn Bryce's team were able to dismiss the Windies for 233 while chasing a 245-run target, despite Hayley Matthews' fabulous all-round performance (114 not out and 4/56).
The six-team tournament features four full members - hosts Pakistan, West Indies, Bangladesh and Ireland - apart from Scotland and Thailand. The top two teams from the event will confirm their passage for the forthcoming ICC Women's Cricket World Cup in India, to be played in October and November 2025.
