While the 2024-25 season approaches its last day, the AIFF is lodging more and more complaints and applying pressure to the teams involved in the important last-day matches.
Following a war of words between Namdhari FC and Inter Kashi over alleged rule violations, Sporting Club Bengaluru have now added fuel to the fire with a formal complaint against Namdhari.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan United have called for action against Real Kashmir for allegedly fielding ineligible players.
SC Bengaluru have lodged an official complaint alleging that Namdhari FC violated tournament rules by fielding Cledson Carvalho Da Silva, known as De, in their match on March 30, 2025.
Similarly, Rajasthan United charged Real Kashmir with a similar violation, alleging that Hyder Yousuf was ineligible to play for Real Kashmir in their match on November 24, 2024.
These complaints have lent more drama to an already nail-biting I-League title fight, with four teams still vying for the championship. The last round of matches will be contested over the weekend, with all 12 teams in action on Saturday and Sunday.
Prior to the end of the season, SC Bengaluru have particularly referred to match No. 122, which they lost 1-2 in Ludhiana, accusing Namdhari FC of violating suspension regulations by fielding Cledson, heightening the controversy as the tournament approaches its final leg.
Bengaluru have claimed that De should have been suspended for the match because he had accumulated yellow cards but was still permitted to play.
What Led To Rajasthan United라이브 바카라 Appeal To AIFF Over Real Kashmir라이브 바카라 Ineligible Player?
Rajasthan United FC have appealed to the AIFF over the participation of Hyder Yousuf, who they claim was ineligible for Real Kashmir FC's match against them on November 24, 2024.
Yousuf received a red card in the final match of the 2023-24 season, which should have resulted in a suspension carried over to the next season.
Rajasthan United are calling for a thorough investigation and potential penalties, including declaring the match a forfeit, exclusion from the next I-League season, or significant points deductions, to protect the league's integrity.
Why SC Bengaluru Officially Complained Against Namdhari FC?
The drama started when Namdhari FC's Cledson Da Silva, or De, played against SC Bengaluru. SC Bengaluru officially complained, citing that under the I-League 2024-25 rules, a player who gets four yellow cards in various games has to sit out the next match.
If the player reaches seven yellow cards, they face another suspension. Bengaluru argued that De had already received seven yellow cards before the match against Gokulam and had also been given a direct red card in a previous game against the Malabarians.
This should have led to a minimum two-match suspension, but instead, Bengaluru claimed that De was still fielded by Namdhari FC, which they said violated the suspension rules and raised serious concerns about how these regulations are enforced in Indian football라이브 바카라 second division.
