Kerala survived a stern Jammu & Kashmir test on Friday, winning the quarter-final match at Deccan Arena, Hyderabad by a solitary goal.
Kerala have scored a combined 18 unanswered goals against the Railways, Pondicherry, and Lakshadweep to win Group H.
In the final round, they registered four wins and dropped points only once en route to the knockouts, winning Group B.
But the seven-time champions were tested to the hilt by Jammu and Kashmir.
Naseeb Rahman, one of the leading scorers in the 78th edition of the National Football Championship, eventually found the winner in the 73rd minute.
Manipur also had a perfect record in the group stage, beating Tripura, Mizoram, and Sikkim without conceding a goal.
In the final round, they finished second behind 32-time champions West Bengal despite not losing a game.
The 2002-03 winners beat Delhi 5-2 in extra time to book a semi-final spot.
They dominated the proceedings but played the entire first half 0-1 down after conceding an early goal.
After 2-2 in regulation time, Manipur scored three times via Shunjanthan Ragui (97', 105+5' pen) and Khullakpam Zahir Khan (107') to complete a stunning turnaround.

Kerala vs Manipur, Santosh Trophy head-to-head
The two teams have met five times in the final stages of the Santosh Trophy, and Kerala lead Manipur 3-2 in the head-to-head records. Manipur beat Kerala in the 2002-03 final (2-1 in extra-time) to claim their only title so far. Kerala last lifted the Santosh Trophy in 2022.
