The Indian men's hockey team were defeated 4-1 by world champions Germany in the FIH Pro League at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on Tuesday.

A very ordinary performance from the Indian side as they were just not good enough on the day. Harendra Singh has a task in his hand, knowing the team needs to be much, much better in the future matches.
