The 2025 Doha Diamond League is set to be a milestone for Indian athletics, with double Olympic medallist Neeraj Chopra joined by three other compatriots in action on May 16 at the Suheim bin Hamad Stadium in Qatar. (Preview | More Sports News)

The event will showcase India라이브 바카라 highest participation in a Diamond League meet, emphasizing the country라이브 바카라 rising stature in the global track and field arena.

The men라이브 바카라 javelin throw will feature Chopra, who claimed the title in 2023 with a throw of 88.67m and finished second in 2024 with 88.36m. He will be joined by Kishore Jena, who also competed in 2024, finishing ninth with a throw of 76.31m.

The other two Indians in action are national record holder Gulveer Singh, making his Diamond League debut in the men라이브 바카라 5000m, and Parul Chaudhary, who will compete in the women라이브 바카라 3000m steeplechase.

The competition in the men라이브 바카라 javelin throw will be fierce, with a star-studded field featuring two-time world champion and Paris Olympics bronze medallist Anderson Peters from Grenada, 2024 winner Jakub Vadlejch from the Czech Republic, Germany라이브 바카라 Julian Weber and Max Dehning, Kenya라이브 바카라 Julius Yego, and Japan라이브 바카라 Roderick Genki Dean, all vying for supremacy.

For Jena, this marks the first major challenge of the season as he aims to recover lost ground following his injury comeback. In 2023, the 29-year-old showcased his skill by finishing fifth at the World Athletics Championships in Hungary and claiming a silver medal at the Hangzhou Asian Games.

Alongside the Indian athletes, all eyes will be on Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce, who has confirmed that the 2025 track and field season will be her final one as a professional. The iconic sprinter will begin her farewell Diamond League season with the 100m race at the Doha Meeting.
