WTA Italian Open 2025: Aryna Sabalenka Survives Third-round Scare Against Sofia Kenin In Rome

The world number one surged back to claim a hard-fought 3-6 6-3 6-3 victory in two hours and 13 minutes

Having seen fellow top seeds Iga Swiatek and Madison Keys head for early exits, Sabalenka found herself a set down to 2020 Australian Open champion Kenin.

Yet the world number one surged back to claim a hard-fought 3-6 6-3 6-3 victory in two hours and 13 minutes.

Her comeback included winning an epic game in the deciding set that had 10 deuces.
