Off-late, there have been several Bollywood re-releases. Now, a couple of Hollywood movies will also re-release in India. Christopher Nolan's Interstellar will return to Indian screens again. Last month, it received a great response after its re-release in Indian theatres.
Interstellar will be back in the Indian theatres on March 14, in IMAX. It will be available for just seven days only. Warner Bros will also re-release Timothee Chalamet and Zendaya starrer Dune: Part Two on the same day in theatres.
Interstellar Re-Release In India
On Monday, March 10, Warner Bros India shared the announcement on social media. The post read, "Back on public demand! Rediscover the masterpiece that captivated millions! Christopher Nolan's 'Interstellar' returns to cinemas in India on March 14. Also in IMAX. Limited run - 7 days only."

Interstellar, which released on November 5, 2014, made a gross collection of around $730 million globally. It bagged five Academy Award nominations, and won the Best Visual Effects award.

The story revolves around a team of pioneers who is on an important mission to discover if mankind has a future among the stars. Actor Matthew McConaughey plays an ex-pilot turned farmer who is forced to leave his family to travel beyond the galaxy.

Earlier, while talking about the success of the re-release of Interstellar after 10 years, Nolan told the Associated Press, "I was just so gratified by the response. But 10 years later, to have new audiences coming and experiencing it in the way that we’d originally intended it on the big IMAX screens and, in particular, on those IMAX film prints? Warner Bros India also shared the re-release news of Dune 2 on social media. “Back in Cinemas, Bigger Than Ever. Relive the war for Arrakis in ‘Dune: Part Two’!,'' read the post. It will also run in IMAX for 7 days only.

Directed by Denis Villeneuve, Dune 2, was one of the biggest blockbusters last year, and it won two Oscars at the 97th Academy Awards- Best Sound and Best Visual Effects. It was nominated in five categories at the Oscars 2025.

As per reports, the film made an estimated 11.45 crores in India on its opening weekend. It earned $432.50 million overseas, including India라이브 바카라 collections. Dune 2's worldwide collection is $714.64 million.
