The class 12th Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) 2025 results are were declared on Tuesday.
The Class 10 board exam candidates are now waiting for their turn. The results are usually released by the middle of May. The government has urged students only to trust verified sources for the official results.
The class 12 exams ended on April 4 and the class 10 exams ended on March 18. At least 42 lakh students appeared for the board exams in 2025. Over 17.88 lakh students appeared for Class 12 exams across 120 subjects and around 24.12 lakh students appeared for Class 10 exams in 84 subjects.
Students have to achieve at least 33% to pass the exam, incorporating theory, practicals and internal assessments. Class 12 students need to pass in at least five subjects, whereas Class 10 students need to pass in five core subjects.
Last year, 22,38,827 students appeared for the Class 10 exams with a pass percentage of 93.60%. For Class 12, 16,21,224 students appeared with a pass percentage of 87.98%.
The results can be accessed via mobile apps like DigiLocker and UMANG.
