The Israeli cabinet approved a plan on Monday to intensify their war effort in Gaza that would include capturing all of the Palestinian territory and occupying it for an unspecified amount of time, according to public broadcaster Kan. The country has called forth its reserve soldiers to aid the effort along with plans that involve shifting thousands of Palestinian residents to southern Gaza.

According to officials, the heightened effort would be implemented gradually and is allegedly aimed at increasing pressure on Hamas for releasing Israeli hostages while also providing an impetus to negotiate a ceasefire on Israeli terms.

The move comes with Israel attempting to heighten the pressure on Hamas. Earlier, it had stopped the influx of aid into Gaza that has pushed nearly 2.3 million Palestinians into widespread hunger.

The efforts have now been escalated owing to an attack carried out by Yemen라이브 바카라 Houthi rebels on Israel's main international airport on Sunday. In a response to the attack, Israel라이브 바카라 Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu had posted a video on X stating that he had convened a meeting of the security cabinet to ascertain the next stage of the ongoing war in Gaza.

While providing a statement on the matter, Israeli army chief Lieutenant General Eyal Zamir asserted that, “We are increasing the pressure with the aim of returning our men and defeating Hamas.”

According to reports, Israel라이브 바카라 war effort has allegedly killed around 52000 residents in Gaza while displacing approximately 90 percent of the population.
