In a shocking incident of murder and abduction, two men were arrested in connection with the brutal killing of Jagdeep, a yoga instructor, in Haryana's Rohtak, ANI reported.
According to reports, the Haryana Police confirmed that Jgadeep was allegedly killed by house owner, Hardeep, who was enraged over an affair between Jagdeep and and his wife.
What Is The Case?
Jagdeep, who lived at Hardeep's house in Rohtak's Shivaji Colony, was reported missing two months ago following which the police began an investigation. Jagdeep was a yoga instructor and worked at Baba Mastnath University in Haryana.
After a detailed investigation, Rohtak police found Jagdeep's body buried in a deep pit in Dadri, which is located near Rohtak.
What Did The Police Say?
Investigation reveals that Jagdeep was kidnapped and held in captivity before being brutally murdered.
The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA)-1 in charge Kuldeep Singh confirmed the arrest and stated that the body has been recovered.
"Today, the postmortem will be done...The deceased was abducted, and then he was buried alive. There are 1-2 more accused involved in the crime. The teams are trying to catch them. The arrested accused have been presented before the court. They are currently on remand, as quoted by ANI.
The Murder Plan
Hardeep discovered his wife was having an affair with their tenant, Jagdeep, and subsequently planned to kill him. According to a report by NDTV, Hardeep was angry with Jagdeep and paid some people to dig a 7-foot deep pit in a village in Charkhi Dadri.
Hardeep told them that it was for a borewell and they waited and the plan was executed on December 24. Hardeep and his friends kidnapped Jagdeep while he was returning from work.
They tied Jagdeep's hands and legs, taped his mouth, thrashed him and then took him to the pit, as per the reports. Jagdeep was buried alive in a pit.
