Amid spiralling tension in Haryana after a communal clash broke out at the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) rally on Monday, the Nuh Superintendent of Police Varun Singla has been transferred to Bhiwani on Thursday. As per media reports, police chief was on leave when the deadly communal clashes broke out.
It has been reported that IPS officer Narendra Bijarniya has replaced Varun Singla amid the intense political tension in the area. Bijarniya, who바카라 웹사이트currently is the acting Superintendent of Police of Nuh, had바카라 웹사이트earlier held the same post in Nuh바카라 웹사이트back in February 2020 to October 2022.
Initially, when the clash erupted in Nuh, Narendra Bijarniya was rushed from Bhiwani. Permanent orders have now been issued for his appointment as SP.
As per media reports, Varun Singla was on leave the day communal clashes broke out and Palwal SP Lokendra Singh was given the additional charge of Nuh.

So far, the clashes have killed as many as six people, including two home guards and a cleric.

In a bid to maintain law and order, the state government suspended the internet services and clamped prohibitory orders in several areas.
According to police, a total of 176 people have been arrested and 78 taken into preventive detention in connection with the communal clashes in Haryana.
As per an FIR filed by a police officer, a mob of around 800-900 men attacked the Hindu rally when it began from Shiv temple in Nalhar, India Today has learnt. The strong mob chanted 'pro-Pakistan slogans' and tried to stop the procession with sticks, stones and illegal weapons with an 'intent to kill', the FIR said.
