The renowned Palamedu Jallikattu commenced with great excitement today, marking an integral part of the Pongal festivities. Following the successful Avaniyapuram Jallikattu held yesterday (January 14) in Madurai district, the celebrated Palamedu Jallikattu began today (January 15) on the occasion of Mattu Pongal.
